Quality Assurance Technician

Job Description Local Montoursville company looking to add to their Quality Team! The Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) position is responsible for ensuring that the products meet or exceed the established standards of quality including reliability, usability and performance.
This position has over site regarding the policies and procedures for the QA/QC department.
Schedule is Monday through Friday and will be a direct placement.
Must be interested in working 16 miles north of Montoursville.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities? Develop and revise quality assurance policies and procedures? Interpret and implement quality assurance standards? Evaluate adequacy of quality assurance standards? Devise sampling procedures and directions for recording and reporting quality data? Review the implementation and efficiency of quality and inspection systems? Plan, conduct and monitor testing and inspection of materials and products to ensure finished product quality? Document internal audits and other quality assurance activities? Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues? Collect and compile statistical quality data? Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system? Develop, recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions? Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities? Identify training needs and organize training interventions to meet quality standards? Responsible for document for procedures in document management systems? Assure ongoing compliance with quality policies and procedures? Capable of directing day-to-day activities and making data driven decisions involving product conformance.
? May be required to plan and allocate work among self and other team members? May be required to assess and coach the performance of othersEducation and Experience? Associates or degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or other related discipline; or equivalent experience preferred? 3-5 years of experience in a quality control function within a manufacturing environment? Certifications including Quality Auditor, Quality Engineer, Quality Improvement Associate, Six Sigma are preferred? Quality inspection, auditing and testing experience? Experience with implementation of corrective action programs? Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and databases? Knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of QA including selection of measurement methods and tools e.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
